We are a custom design studio and our goal is to bring your unique style to your wedding stationery. Whether you are funky or formal, whether you love modern design or vintage chic, we can help you infuse your personality into every piece of your wedding invitation set. We can make changes to any of the designs you see or we can design something completely custom. Either way, we want your stationery to reflect the wedding of your dreams and be the perfect first glimpse into the special day you have planned.

Design Process

1- Let’s meet! Either in person or over the phone, it’s important for us to discuss the details and your stationery needs. At this initial consultation, we will discuss your event, your colors, a theme if any, and the style of your affair. Often, brides-to-be bring us dress swatches, ideas torn from magazines, photos of their event location or anything that will give us a better vision of the big day! Not sure what you want, no problem, that’s why we’re here!

2- The quote. After our consultation, we will have a quote to you within 1 week. Typically we e-mail your quote, but we can mail you a copy if needed.

3- Happy with the quote? Sign a contract and pay the deposit. Along with a signed contract, we require a $100 deposit. The deposit will be deducted from your final stationery cost, but is non-refundable should you cancel the job. This is also the time when we will discuss your stationery
timeline.

4- Let the design begin!
As soon as we receive your contract and deposit, we will begin design right away. Based on our initial consultation, we will design 3 ideas for you to review. Pick the one you like best, or bits and pieces from each and provide us with feedback. We will make changes until you are thrilled with the design! This is also the time you will submit all of your text for your stationery pieces.


5- Digital proof.
We will send you a final digital proof of each piece in your ensemble. Once approved, we will get a printed proof for you to review.

6- Printed proof. We can mail a printed proof to you or set up a time to meet. Now it’s time for you to proof every aspect of your invitation set very carefully (art, layout, colors, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and typestyle). We will be busy giving the same editing scrutiny to your pieces as well.

7- Final approval. Once we receive final approval, it is time for print. At this point, Lila Elliot Design is not responsible for any changes or mistakes.

8- Print! It is time for your stationery set to be printed! Depending on the complexity and number of pieces in your set, it will take between 1-3 weeks (from the day we receive final approval) to receive your completed set.

9- Payment and pick-up/delivery. Full payment is due at the time of pick-up. If we are shipping your set to you, final payment will be due prior to shipping. We accept cash or check.
